Palas de Rei → Arzúa
A stage of the Camino Francés
One of the longer final-week stages on the Camino Francés, this 28-kilometre walk from Palas de Rei to Arzúa crosses several river valleys and stretches of eucalyptus and oak forest on a broadly net-descending route. The path passes through a string of small Galician villages and medieval stone bridges, gradually building the sense of nearing Santiago. Arzúa is well known among pilgrims for its local cheese.
