Pamplona → Puente la Reina
A stage of the Camino Francés
Leaving Pamplona, this 21.8 km Camino Francés stage climbs 277 m up to the Sierra del Perdón ridge, where a row of wind turbines and an iconic pilgrim sculpture mark one of the route's most photographed spots, before a long 374 m descent into the Navarrese lowlands. The stage ends in Puente la Reina, a medieval bridge town whose Romanesque six-arched bridge over the Arga has welcomed pilgrims for more than a thousand years. The terrain is varied — suburban outskirts, open ridge, and vine-covered slopes.
