This 16 km stage of the Portugués Coastal is essentially flat — negligible ascent and descent — running from Vigo northward to Redondela along the inner shore of the Vigo estuary. The path passes through suburban and light industrial areas before reaching Redondela, the town where the Coastal variant rejoins the main inland Camino Portugués for the final push toward Santiago.
