Melide → Arzúa
A stage of the Camino Primitivo
A short and pleasant 14-kilometre stage along the shared final corridor of the Camino Primitivo and Camino Francés, from Melide to Arzúa — a town well known for its soft, creamy local Galician cheese. With only modest elevation change, the path follows wooded tracks and country lanes through a landscape of eucalyptus, oak, and small streams typical of the approach to Santiago. After joining the Francés in Melide, pilgrims will notice a considerable increase in the number of fellow walkers.
