Pola de Allande → Berducedo
A stage of the Camino Primitivo
Covering 18 kilometres with a relentless 618-metre climb, this challenging Camino Primitivo stage heads deep into the high country of western Asturias. From Pola de Allande the path rises through moorland and mountain terrain to the small village of Berducedo, set at altitude and offering very limited services. The ascent is long and exposed in places, and the effort and isolation here are part of what sets the Primitivo apart from busier routes.
