Pontedeume → Betanzos
A stage of the Camino Inglés
This moderate 19-kilometre stage on the Camino Inglés moves through Galician countryside between two historic towns. Pontedeume sits at the edge of the Eume estuary, and the route rolls inland through farmland and forest to Betanzos, one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Galicia. Betanzos' old quarter, Gothic churches, and stone arcaded streets make it well worth arriving early enough to explore before pushing on toward Santiago.
