Betanzos → Hospital de Bruma
A stage of the Camino Inglés
A short but surprisingly demanding stage on the Camino Inglés: just under 17 kilometres with 402 metres of climbing and almost no descent, as the route heads steadily inland and upward from Betanzos. The destination, Hospital de Bruma, is a tiny hamlet whose name recalls the pilgrim hospitals of the medieval era that once served travellers on this route. Services here are very limited, and it functions mainly as a waypoint for walkers breaking the long push toward Santiago.
