A stage of the Camino Inglés
The longest stage on the Camino Inglés at nearly 29 kilometres, this day compensates for its length with very little elevation — only 98 metres of gain and a gentle 209-metre descent — as the route crosses the Galician plateau on its way toward the outskirts of Santiago de Compostela. From Hospital de Bruma the path descends gradually through farmland, forest tracks, and small Galician villages to Sigüeiro, a town on the Tambre river that marks the last overnight stop before the cathedral.
