Sigüeiro → Santiago de Compostela
A stage of the Camino Inglés
The final 16-kilometre stage of the Camino Inglés is an easy, gently rolling walk from Sigüeiro into the heart of Santiago de Compostela. With minimal elevation change, it is a stage for savouring the approach: the route passes through the city's outskirts before delivering pilgrims to the old town and the sweeping Praza do Obradoiro, where the twin baroque towers of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela rise above the square. It is one of the great arrivals in European pilgrimage.
