Salas → Tineo
A stage of the Camino Primitivo
This 19-kilometre stage on the Camino Primitivo packs in 623 metres of climbing with very little descent, making it the harder half of two back-to-back moderate days in the Asturian mountains. Leaving Salas, the route rises steadily through chestnut woods and green hillsides before arriving in Tineo, a sizeable town perched on a hillside ridge. The effort rewards walkers with sweeping views over the rolling Asturian interior.
