O Cebreiro → Triacastela
A stage of the Camino Francés
After the high drama of O Cebreiro, this 20-kilometre stage on the Camino Francés offers a long, rewarding descent of 774 metres into the valley town of Triacastela. The path crosses open moorland ridges with wide panoramas across Galicia, then drops through oakwood and small farming hamlets into a softer landscape of green pastures and narrow lanes. Despite its moderate rating, tired legs will feel the sustained downhill.
